Olympic Wholesome Fun and the Poconos
Embrace the mountains and lakes vacation zen with a side of pigs.
Welcome, Substack friends to another week of what I hope is full of awesome. This is going to be a shorter than usually post because I’m in the middle of a mini-vacation. But I still wanted to give you a little something special to carry you into this week.
Sunflowers make everything so bright….
I’m enjoying a long weekend in the Poconos area of Pennsylvania. It’s only a 90 minute drive for me, and where I learned to ski, snow tube and found the joys of hiking and swimming in a lake. These two pictures below were the typical views as I relaxed and welcomed the mountain and wooded vibes.
One of my all time favorite restaurants in the Poconos is a little place in Lake Harmony that has been serving the best breakfasts since 1985. It’s called Piggy’s, and it’s a must visit for breakfast and lunch. Their pancakes and breakfast potatoes are amazing. Also, their portions are huge. And, if you’re a fan of pigs, you will be Hog Heaven at Piggy’s. If you ever visit or vacation in the Poconos, you must eat at Piggy’s.

It's all about the pommel horse (Stephen Nedoroscik) at the Olympic Games in France. And, don’t forget Snoop Dogg and Flavor Flav and the women’s water polo team. So much fun and so much joy at this year’s games.
Let’s hear it for The Wienerlympics!
